OPINION
It was not the best day at the office for Juan Foyth, who had a bit of a shocker in Tottenham’s 2-1 loss against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon. The Argentine did not look at all comfortable on the right-side of the back-three, and wasn’t really helped out by right wing-back Serge Aurier. Foyth lost target man Chris Wood when the Burnley forward scored against Spurs from a well-taken corner kick, and that basically summed up the player’s performance. A section of Tottenham fans have torn Foyth to shreds for his display in Lancashire, and you cannot blame them, considering how out of depth he looked at stages in the game. It was always going to be a tough match-up for the 21-year-old defender when the likes of Wood and Ashley Barnes are playing against him, but surely a back-four would have better suited Spurs, or Davinson Sanchez starting instead.
