COMMENTARY
There is often nothing quite like the experience of a cup clash but for many of the Rangers fans the club’s pricing strategy has sent them into meltdown. As confirmed on the club’s official website, the supporters will have to pay £27 for a full price ticket for their replay against Kilmarnock next week, while concessions are just short of £20. It takes any chance of it being a cheap day out for the family – with cup games often one of the most affordable when it comes to tickets – away from the fans at Ibrox and there are going to be plenty of empty seats when the two sides clash on Wednesday the 20th. No wonder the Gers faithful have erupted with rage on social media – it really is a disappointing reveal from the Light Blues and the atmosphere for the showdown will be severely lacking compared to the usual Ibrox roar. This is supposed to be a competition that Rangers are chasing but they are just mugging off their loyal fans this time around. As one supporter puts it, it is a poor show from the decision makers at Ibrox.

Disgraceful price for a replay.

Fans getting fleeced here. Yes I’ll pay it and support my club but this was an opportunity to have some sensible prices and fill the place. Instead it’ll be half full.
