What is it with Celtic and shaky centre backs this season? If it is not Krisstoffer Ajer giving the fans ‘the fear’ it is Dedryck Boyata – although on Wednesday night it appeared to be a case of both struggling to deal with Hearts’ attack. The Belgian was perhaps the more worrying of the two – not least because of a first half scare which could well have seen him handed his marching orders for pulling back Steven Naismith. He is someone who always has a mistake or two in his locker and considering he was angling for an exit last summer it seems as though the fans will not be too disappointed when he does eventually leave the club. There definitely needs to be an increase in composure at the heart of the defence and considering Boyata’s experience he should be the settling presence right now. That is not the case and Neil Lennon will be wondering how to sort out what looks like a real problem to fix on his return to the Hoops.
