COMMENTARY
Many Celtic fans were blown away on social media by the performance of Jeremy Toljan after witnessing him featuring in the first-half against Hibernian on Wednesday. The 24-year-old right-back had a large number of Hoops supporters practically purring over his display with one ready for their club to offer the player a five-year deal as a result. Toljan joined on loan from Borussia Dortmund in January and it seems he has darted straight to the hearts of a lots of Celtic fans and it’s easy to see why. Brendan Rodgers was in desperate need of welcoming a new right-back and it seems not only did he get his wish granted but a top-class one arrived to help him out. Toljan looks a threat going forward down the flank, with one fan rightly highlighting how he overlaps his teammates on the wings when charging towards goal, but also looks composed when doing his defensive duties. Celtics fans will be hoping Toljan keeps impressing and will be hoping their club build on their 1-0 lead over Hibs that they established going into the break.
