It seems that some fans have refused to forget about Ibrox flop Michael O’Halloran, who injured himself while playing for St Johnston’s reserves against the Gers’ reserves on Monday afternoon. The Light Blues’ Youth Academy Twitter account posted that O’Halloran lasted just 10 minutes of the game, that finished 1-1, before being substituted off due to injury. O’Halloran is surely one of the worst players to have played for Rangers during the last few years. He had a bit of an impact in the Scottish Championship during the promotion season, but after that the ex-Celtic youngster reportedly went AWOL when told to impress in the Under-20s side, effectively killing off his career at Ibrox. Some Gers fans are right to resent the St Johnstone forward, but to be happy about him being injured is a bit harsh, especially if it ends up being serious and Monday’s update doesn’t show the severity of his injury.
