OPINION
Many Rangers fans would surely rather forget about Carlos Pena after his year and a half on the books at Ibrox ended up being a massive waste of time and money for the club. Pena, 28, has now left the Gers and according to the Daily Record, he is close to joining a club in Poland on a free transfer, but it seems as though the Mexico international still has the Glasgow giants on his mind, judging by his Twitter post on Wednesday. Understandably, a lot of Rangers fans are all wishing Pena the best. On a pure footballing basis, he had a shocker with Rangers and he deserved to be cut loose by the club, however away from the field it seems like he has had a lot of issues, mainly with alcoholism. Hopefully, for his sake, he can revive his career in Poland and also beat off some of the personal demons that have reportedly been hounding him. Good luck, Carlos.
