Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to welcome back superstar midfield trio Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho and Leander Dendoncker against Newcastle United on Monday.

All three players were rested against Shrewsbury Town last time out, but will almost certainly replace Romain Saiss, Morgan Gibbs-White and Ivan Cavaleiro against the Magpies.

John Ruddy, Adama Traore and Helder Costa also look set to miss out after their cup outing, with Rui Patricio, Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota surely coming in for them.

Santo will be confident of securing yet another victory at Molineux, and six changes from the Shrewsbury game sounds like enough to seal three points here.

Ruddy is the designated cup goalkeeper for Wolves but Patricio is very much the main man when it comes to Premier League football. The Portugal international is a near certainty to come back in. Meanwhile, the wing back duo of Matt Doherty and Jonny Castro Otto will likely continue on their respective flanks.

The centre halves are pretty much nailed on starters week in week out, and Ryan Bennett, Conor Coady and Willy Boly can all expect to start on Monday.

As mentioned the midfield looks set to be made up of Neves, Moutinho and Dendoncker. That trio have been hugely impressive of late and will surely start once again here.

Up front, there is only one combination that Santo will go for. Both Jimenez and Jota are bang in form and near certainties to start at Molineux.
