Opinion

There is obviously plenty of way to go for a 15-year-old to make a career for himself in the world of football but considering the clubs who are on the tail of Omidiji Jr, he must be something special. West Ham and Manchester United both have reputable youth systems which have brought through some of the best talent English football have to offer, while Crystal Palace will also consider themselves among the hunting pack considering the recent rise of some of their own homegrown stars. Of course, the reputation of the Red Devils might made Old Trafford the young talents favoured destination but he has to consider what is best for his long term future. Where is he going to get the best chance to progress into the first team? That could well be Nottingham Forest, where his quality will be given the chance to shine through if he is good enough. It will no doubt be a whirlwind two months for the teenager and you can be sure he will be seriously excited about the prospect of proving himself in England.
