Tottenham were always going to find it difficult to cope without the talent that is striker Harry Kane until March, and why wouldn’t they?
He is arguably their main goal threat these days, and fans were no doubt dreading finding out that he would be sidelined for quite a while.
That would no doubt make them question whether the club were going to sign some new as a short term replacement, after all, the only cover they had was Fernando Llorente.
While the Spaniard is not a like-for like replacement for the England captain, he has done well to step into the shoes of a fan favourite.
However, the Spurs fans are not likely to be happy after Mauricio Pochettino’s latest U-turn on forward Vincent Janssen, who has not been part of the manager’s plans for quite some time.
Pasport journalist Jonathan Veal has relayed on his personal Twitter account that the boss is planning on including the outcast in his first team plans from now on.
Mauricio Pochettino says that outcast striker Vincent Janssen will now be part of his plans at Tottenham for the rest of the season: “From today he will be involved in the first team.” #THFC #COYS

Don’t know about you, but this sudden U-turn really reeks of desperation, especially as Janssen looked like he was going to leave in the last transfer window.
What has suddenly changed the manager’s mind about the attacker? He is hardly going to add anything to the squad that is not already there.
Pochettino should have signed a striker while he had the chance to in January if this is what his solution is to the current forward problems.
Fans will no doubt be fuming with him after this, and that is not a surprise in the slightest.
If he plans on using Janssen in the upcoming fixtures, then he is really asking teams to heap more misery on Tottenham.
This change of heart is just bizarre – and the decision is likely to back fire on him.
