Everton attacker Richarlison netted the only goal of the game as they put a mixed few weeks behind them with a 1-0 win over Huddersfield on Tuesday.

The Toffees now sit in eighth place in the Premier League after securing all three points, so they are no doubt looking towards their next match against Wolves with a lot of confidence.

However, despite the positive result, there are still three changes boss Marco Silva could make to the team in order to be at maximum strength on Saturday, and that includes axing the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Cenk Tosun.

In goal, Jordan Pickford must start as normal.

The defence should remain unchanged, however, this is slightly enforced mainly because left-back Lucas Digne received a red card against the Terriers – this means that Leighton Baines will retain his place in the role, which means that Silva will not be compromising on quality.

However, the first change must come in the midfield, with Sigurdsson being rightfully axed after his woeful performance. The playmaker missed a number of chances throughout the evening, and never seemed to be involved with the action. This means that Theo Walcott should come in, if only to liven things up a bit.

Bernard represents the second change that Silva must make to the team. Yes, he was feisty down the wing at times, but his creativity amounted nothing the majority of the time, which is why he must be axed in order to accommodate Ademola Lookman.

The third and final change must come in the shape of Cenk Tosun, who was not particularly effective against the Terriers – which does not come as a surprise. In his place should come the young Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who must be given another opportunity to show what he can do.

If Silva makes the right calls regarding his starting XI, then there is no doubt that his team would be able to blitz past Wolves with ease on Saturday.
