Did any Leeds United fans think it would be easy? West Brom have now moved within one point of the Whites with a last-gasp win against QPR on Tuesday night. Jake Livermore’s stoppage time goal secured a 3-2 win for the Baggies, who had already gone ahead twice earlier in the game thanks to strikes by Jefferson Montero and Jacob Murphy. Many Leeds fans have understandably been reacting to the Baggies’ win, with varying degrees of optimism and pessimism. Promotion is still in Leeds’ hands as it stands. They have a game in hand on Sheffield United and Norwich in the top two and their 10 day break before the Bolton game this weekend could serve as a major boost. West Brom play Sheffield United at The Hawthorns this weekend too so someone in the top-four is going to be dropping points. Leeds need to win this weekend, otherwise fans are going to be slightly more nervous.
