OPINION
Nottingham Forest centre back Alexander Milosevic produced an assured performance as his team secured a crucial 2-1 win over Brentford on Saturday. The Sweden international has only been a Forest player for a matter of days but judging by this display he has settled in rapidly. He was rock solid at the back against the Bees, preventing the visitors from ever really putting a stamp on the game at the City Ground. He showed his class, as well, when he sprayed a beautiful pass forward that set the opening goal in motion. That shows what he can give this Forest team in an offensive sense, besides being a commanding defender. It’s so valuable to have a centre half who can bring the ball out from the back and start off attacks, and that’s what Milosevic gives Martin O’Neill’s side. Forest needed three points on Saturday against a very strong Brentford team, and it was Milosevic who stepped up to the plate and led them to victory.

Ryan Yates was superb, but I think that Alexander Milosevic also must be mentioned! It’s only his second game and he played like he have been in the team for a long time! I’m worried about Joao Carvalho. Why isn’t he playing??

Totally agree. ## no player will be able to say he’s not been given a chance to impress## could see why there s a lot of interest in a few of Brentford’s players. Ie canos sawyers and dalsgard. ## I thought milosevic was our best player.
