Marcelo Bielsa announced his starting line-up for the crunch Championship game against QPR on Tuesday night, confirming that it would be unchanged from Saturday.

However, he did say that both Gaetano Berardi and Barry Douglas would be included in the squad after recovering from injury.

Bielsa was talking at the pre-match press conference ahead of Tuesday night’s game, that’s live on Sky Sports.

He was quoted by Leeds.Live journalist Beren Cross.

Izzy Brown is still being made to wait for his debut after not playing a single minute since his loan move from Chelsea in the summer.

Brown arrived injured but has made the bench for the past three first-team games without coming onto the pitch.

OPINION

Leeds aren’t winning convincingly at the moment but they’re winning – and they simply have to carry on winning. There are 13 games left between now and the end of the season and they’re getting no favours from Norwich or Sheffield United at the moment. They’re both winning convincingly and Leeds just can’t afford any slip-ups. This is a crucial week as they visit struggling QPR before hosting West Brom in a blockbuster clash at the top of the table on Friday. Six points would make them overwhelming favourites to win promotion back to the Premier League and they would retain their spot at the top of the table. QPR have lost all of their last seven league games and have dropped down to 18th in the league. Leeds fans will be hoping that they don’t buck the trend at Loftus Road on Friday. The bookies have them at evens to win the game, with QPR at a best price of 3/1.
