Leeds United delivered some good news to their fans ahead of what could be one of the biggest season’s in the club’s history, freezing season ticket prices for the eighth season in a row.
As they get ready to celebrate their 100th birthday, the hope remain strong that Leeds will be back in the Premier League for the 18/19 campaign. They moved back to the top of the league on Wednesday with a 2-1 win against Swansea, with 14 games remaining.
Leeds United delivered the news about the price freeze on its official Twitter page on Friday morning and the majority of fans were buzzing at the news, and many thanked the club for rewarding loyalty.
It will come into effect regardless of what division Leeds are playing in, while a new price category for 16-18 year olds has been introduced.

Obviously this is good news for Leeds fans but some supporters thought that it spelled the end for their chances of getting a season ticket, with renewals expected to be sky-high.
So, while some fans gained, others were left to ponder how they might get to see their club next season, although Leeds did say that season ticket sales would be capped leaving a portion of seats for general sale.
It’s further evidence of progressive thinking at Elland Road. They’ve got among the best fans in the world – often called ‘Premier League standard’ by rival managers – and if they get promoted, every game at Elland Road will be a sellout.
If Leeds can harness the magic and stick in the Premier League, they could be well on the way to regaining their status as one of the giants of the game.

Under the ownership of @andrearadri we are finally getting value for money and quality entertainment after paying over the odds for the miserable years when Bates, GFH and Cellino were in charge. The club feels like it’s finally going places. Thanks and well done to all at #LUFC
