COMMENTARY
Several Leeds United fans couldn’t help but take to social media after Daniel James scored a stunning wonder goal in the FA Cup for Swansea City. The Welsh winger came oh so close to joining the Whites in January, as reported by the Daily Mirror, only for his move to collapse at the eleventh hour. Yet it seems James has recovered well from his disappointment over not joining Leeds in some style. The 21-year-old winger showcased his blistering pace and scored a stunning solo goal for Swansea when facing Brentford on Sunday. After witnessing such a beautiful goal be scored by James, several Leeds fans all had similar reactions on Twitter. One urged others to imagine how good the winger would have done under Marcelo Bielsa, while another cheekily asked the Swans to keep him safe until Leeds can sign him in the summer. While it is disappointing from a Leeds’ perspective that James isn’t at Elland Road currently, Bielsa’s side are still steaming towards promotion without him.
