OPINION
Leeds fans have long thought the deck is stacked against them but their hackles have been raised further recently with a £200,000 fine dished out by the EFL after their spygate investigation. The FA also investigated and were happy to deliver a warning about future conduct after the heavy-handed fine was meted out. However, the Leeds fans are on the warpath again after judgement was made on the antics between two of their Championship rivals, Ipswich and Norwich. They had a derby-day brawl on the pitch, with Ipswich manager Paul Lambert getting a two-game touchline ban for his part in the melee started by Jon Nolan’s first half tackle on Max Aarons. Leeds’ title rivals Norwich were fined £25,000 for their part in the brawl, higher than Ipswich because of similar incidents before. Ipswich were fined £20,000, a tenth of what Leeds got for watching a training session from a public place – something that wasn’t actually covered by any of the laws of the game. That’s made Leeds fans furious, and you can understand why and they took to Twitter to berate the FA Spokesperson Twitter account.
[1/2] Norwich City have been fined £25,000 and Ipswich Town have
been fined £20,000 after accepting a charge for failing to ensure their players
conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during both the 45th and 90th
minutes, as well as their officials in the 45th minute…— FA Spokesperson (@FAspokesperson) February 21, 2019
Here are the best reactions from Leeds fans:
Thought they might have been fined £200000 for not showing respect to each other. To be fair they weren't looking over a fence from a public road. #LUFC

Woweee! How come such a small amount? Surely the going rate for being naughty is £200k these days!!!
Oh, wait a minute …. it’s not LUFC is it!!!

?? not £200,000 for failing to show respect to each other then?? Bloody joke! Oh hang on – I know why – they were on private property as opposed to a public footpath where every human being is allowed to stand and watch the world go by. @FA and @EFL are an absolute joke.

Compared to £200k fine for standing on a public path with some binoculars and gardening tools observing a training session. Are you serious?!
