Yannick Bolasie claimed that Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish was the best player in the Championship.
The 29-year-old who spent the first-half of the current season on loan at the Villans, took to his verified Twitter account to answer Soccer AM’s question about was currently the cream of the crop in England’s second-tier.
Bolasie in response to the Sky Sports show’s question simply tagged Grealish’s official Twitter account and posted the ‘call me’ emoiji.

OPINION
While Bolasie left Aston Villa hanging in a flash in January, it seems he may be among supporters’ good books again. The entire Villans fanbase will no doubt appreciate that the 29-year-old winger believes the best player in the division currently lies at their club. While a case can be argued for Grealish, there may be other contenders leading the way when you look at the responses to Soccer AM’s tweet. This is understandable as Grealish has been unable to feature for Dean Smith’s side as of late due to an injury. However it’s a testament to his ability, that his absence has been a very notable one and has contributed to the Villans’ dramatic dip in form. Ahead of suffering an injury, the 23-year-old playmaker was a focal point for the Villans side as he made 22 outings and was involved in getting six goals for his team. Hopefully Grealish is on the brink of returning to the first-team as Smith needs him more than ever.
