OPINION
Celtic right back Jeremy Toljan has clearly made quite an impression on the Hoops fanbase already, hasn’t he? The German was a January loan addition from Borussia Dortmund and has impressed greatly in his short time in Glasgow. He continued his fine form with another excellent performance in his team’s 5-0 win over St Johnstone on Sunday. He provides this Hoops team with a whole other dimension on the right hand side, possessing wonderful quality on the ball and the ability to push forward and make an impact. He is also a terrific defender who isn’t easily beaten. Mikael Lustig hasn’t been at his best this season and is clearly in the twilight of his career. Toljan was brought in to take the starting right back spot and make it his own, which is very much what he has done early on. He looked terrific against the Saints and is only going to get better moving forward. That’s an exciting thought for the Bhoys faithful.
