OPINION
Jake Hastie has been on another level for Motherwell since returning from his loan spell at Alloa Athletic, scoring four goals in five Scottish Premiership appearances since the winter break ended. The 19-year-old has hit the form of his life at Fir Park, adding to his tally with yet another goal on Sunday, this time in a 2-1 win against Hearts. So it is understandable to see some Celtic fans urging the club to sign Hastie, who is out of contract at the end of the season and could be a really clever signing by the Bhoys judging by his current run of form. Hastie is young, Scottish, cheap and playing very well in the SPFL, which means that he would pretty much be a no-risk signing if the Hoops were able to snap him up from Motherwell. According to the Daily Record, Leeds United, West Brom and Norwich have all been keeping tabs on Hastie, so Brendan Rodgers might face a battle for his signature in the summer if he does enter the race to sign him.
