Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa continued his tradition of naming his first-team side ahead of Saturday’s Championship clash against Bolton.

Bielsa has done this for the past few games, co-incidentally after the spygate scandal, when he was accused of spying on other Championship sides training.

Talking in his pre-match press conference (live coverage on the official Leeds United app, 1.05pm), Bielsa confirmed that Tyler Roberts would take the place of the injured Kemar Roofe.

The rest of the side stays the same as the one that beat Swansea 2-1 in their last game out.

That means the line-up against Bolton will be: Casilla, Alioski, Cooper, Jansson, Ayling, Phillips, Hernandez, Klich, Roberts, Harrison and Bamford.

The line-up was then confirmed on the official Leeds Twitter account.

OPINION

Bolton are one off the bottom of the Championship and Leeds fans will be expecting a big win from Leeds to get their side back on track after slipping out of the automatic promotion spots. The next few days are absolutely vital in their hunt for automatic promotion, with first Bolton and then QPR on Tuesday both eminently winnable games. Six points will really be the minimum that fans and Bielsa will expect from their side, but it’s getting towards squeaky bum time with just 14 games left. Leeds fans will be hoping that their side doesn’t buckle under the pressure of a sustained Championship run, coupled with some really unfortunate injuries. Kemar Roofe was the latest to fall foul of the Leeds curse and ligament damage will keep him out for the next month and a half. He is expected to return before the end of the season, though, and he’ll be hoping that Leeds are still near the top or, at the very least, in-touch with the top-two.
