Vakoun Issouf Bayo has asked Celtic fans to teach him how to dance properly after being trolled on Twitter for his moves following Sunday’s win against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
Bayo, 22, made his Hoops debut as a second-half substitute in the 1-0 win at Killie, and after the game he and his new team-mates celebrated the win in front of the travelling supporters – although the Ivorian did not really seem to have a clue what he was doing.

That led to a number of Celtic fans trolling the centre-forward on Twitter:

Bayo is obviously still settling into life as a Celtic player, but at least he is making efforts to learn, judging by a post on his personal Instagram page on Sunday night.
“Hey guys, anyone to teach me this dance please? Well done,” the Bhoys debutant said.
OPINION
It’s one thing trying to get used to playing in Scottish football, and it’s a completely different things having to adjust to the culture of football fans in Scotland. Celtic fans got their long-awaited first glimpse of Bayo on Sunday afternoon, and he will certainly remember that game for all the right reasons despite only being on the pitch for a matter of minutes. The Ivory Coast international did play a bit of a role in Scott Brown’s last-gasp winner though as he won the corner that eventually led to the Bhoys captain slamming the ball into the back of the net. It is a good start for Bayo, who was Brendan Rodgers’ only permanent signing in January, and hopefully he can start to build on the positive experience and eventually put pressure on Odsonne Edouard for his spot in the starting line-up. Rodgers has left himself with a lot of options up front after signing Bayo, Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah in January. For some reason, Rodgers has preferred players who are on loan until the summer, so maybe that will change as the season progresses a bit more. That, or Bayo could have a big role next season instead.
