OPINION
Do Aston Villa have any players available for their clash against Stoke on Saturday? Judging by the latest update on their official Twitter account, Dean Smith is going to struggle to name a squad of 18 players for the trip to the Bet365, so it is no shock to see so many Villa fans raging over the current state of the squad. Jack Grealish will “definitely” miss yet another game, which is the biggest blow of them all as Villa have won just two of 12 league games while he has been sidelined. James Chester and Axel Tuanzebe being absent doesn’t help the defence either and Lovre Kalinic being 50/50 is a worry. John McGinn is also suspended for the next two games, so Smith is going to have to pull off a miracle to get a victory at Stoke this weekend. Luckily for Villa, the Potters have been wretched this season and they could get a result. That won’t stop their pessimistic fanbase from having a good old meltdown though.
