Instead of enjoying a mid-season break from Premiership action like the rest of the Celtic squad, midfielder Tom Rogic has instead flown to the UAE to represent Australia in the Asian Cup. The Socceroos are the defending champions after winning the last iteration of the trophy in 2015, and are one of the favourites to retain their crown this time round. However, things did not get off to a good start in their first match on Sunday as they fell to a shock 1-0 loss to minnows Jordan. Rogic started in attacking midfield as normal for the Socceroos but put in a really poor display for Graham Arnold’s side. The Celtic midfielder has in truth been short of form all season, with Rogic also struggling to make an impact for the Hoops. Many football fans have now taken to Twitter to react to his display on Sunday, with many destroying the Hoops playmaker for a really poor outing.
