He may have evoked memories of John Wile while his blood-soaked shirt and head bandage, but Hal Robson-Kanu did nothing to make West Brom fans remember his performance against Bolton on Monday night – unless they remember it for all the bad reasons. It makes you wonder how the Wales international is still on the books at The Hawthorns. It is so rare that he plays well, and this season he has been playing more than ever due to the drop into the Champioship. Aside from his display in the 4-1 win over Leeds, Robson-Kanu has been ripped into by some fans whenever he has played, which is understandable. It’s hard to see what he adds to the side and the injury to Matt Phillips and disappearance of Harvey Barnes means he is going to be playing for the foreseeable future. Hopefully Darren Moore can find an upgrade before the transfer window slams shut.
