COMMENTARY
Rangers fans already knew that they were getting Glen Kamara from Dundee in the summer but it appears as though they are seriously excited at the prospect of getting him on board at Ibrox six months earlier. The Gers are said to have agreed terms to take the midfielder to Glasgow on a permanent deal in a last ditch deadline day deal, as Sky Sports claim on their official Twitter account, and judging by the reactions on Twitter the Light Blues faithful believe he will be a great value for money arrival, with other reports claiming between a £50,000 and a £100,000 deal for his capture. The real question that these fans should be asking themselves is just where does Kamara fit into an already packed midfield at Rangers? From Scott Arfield to Steven Davis, Lassana Coulibaly and Ryan Jack, Steven Gerrard is blessed with quality options in the middle of the park and so the Dundee man is going to face one mighty battle to work his way into the first team. Surely they would have been better saving some dough and welcoming him in the summer – but it seems Gerrard could not wait for his new man.
