COMMENTARY
With a squad lacking a whole lot of depth Rangers boss Steven Gerrard knows he cannot afford too many absences if they are to push on to glory in the second half of the season – which is why Eros Grezda being snapped in a protective boot and on crutches has got the fans so worried on Twitter. Now there is no pretending that the Albanian is by no means the most important player at Ibrox – far from it – but he still has his part to play and losing him means that it is just another option unavailable to the boss in his time of need. The Gers faithful are yet to see the very best of Grezda and this setback, regardless of how minor or serious it might be, is not going to help his cause. There are of course hopes that it is only a precautionary measure but considering he looks to be made of paper when it comes to injuries it is a worrying sight. Jordan Jones has signed on a pre-contract deal – could he be in for an early move to Ibrox?

Hopefully this picture of Grezda from training camp doesn’t result in a long spell out injured

Hope Grezda's injury isn't a bad one. I know a lot of people have wrote him off, I trust the board and think there is a player in there might be next season before we see the best of him now though!
His injury might mean the arrival of Jordan Jones this month now…

This season is looking like a write off for Grezda, hopefully he can show we we paid £2mil once fully, properly fit.
Talk of around £2-4mil for Kent, I'm very surprised at that. Hopefully LFC will be good to Gerrard. Great business if that deal is done.
