OPINION
One of the big talking points on social media among Rangers fans today is the suspension of Hibernian manager Neil Lennon. Bears have reacted in their droves after it emerged on Friday night that the northern Irishman has been suspended by the Edinburgh club and is unlikely to take charge of them again. It follows a reported exchange between Lennon and several employees of the Easter Road club on Friday. Hibernian have dropped to eighth in the SPL after starting the season on fire, and the pressure was mounting on the 47-year-old ahead of Sunday’s league clash against St Mirren. There is little love lost between Lennon and Rangers supporters, who hoovered up trophies during his playing days at Celtic before taking over as manager and leading them to consecutive titles in 2011-12 and 2012-13 at the start of their seven-in-a-row run. Many Gers are delighting in his demise at Hibs, although some point out they respect his managerial record.

Not Lennon’s biggest fan but he’s a decent coach. If he had a non pressure coaching job rather than a high profile one it may be a win win, but he most definitely needs to take time out and should not be managing any club. Hibs season fell off a cliff after the coin drama

If Lennon has been sacked for disciplinary issues its little wonder, the fact that he gets a free pass for his past indiscretions must make him think he’s untouchable and can get away with anything.

“Only last weekend SFA chiefs turned to Lennon in a bid to help them go about fixing their broken justice system”
That’s what happens when you put an arsonist in control of the matches
Only proves further how incompetent the SFA are
