Rangers have tabled a bid worth £50,000 to try and sign Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara before the transfer window closes January 31, according to Express reporter Scott Burns.
The reliable journalist claimed via his personal Twitter account on Tuesday morning that the Gers have offered a lowly sum for the Finland international, who is already due to join the Glasgow giants in the summer after reaching a pre-contract agreement with them earlier this month.

Kamara, 23, has failed to feature in Dundee’s last three fixtures since agreeing to join Rangers in the summer.
Good move for Rangers?
If Steven Gerrard can sign Kamara earlier than scheduled then it would definitely be a worthwhile addition to his squad.
Although the Gers midfield is well-stocked already, it would not hurt to have the ex-Arsenal midfielder on board to potentially help the club continue their bid to win the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Gerrard has Lassana Coulibaly on loan from Angers at the moment and Kamara’s early arrival may mean that the Mali international can drop further down the pecking order due to his poor form.

Likely to happen?
It would be a shock if Dundee accepted £50,000 for Kamara.
Even though he will leave for free in the summer, that is a very low offer by Rangers and they will surely have to at least reach six-figures in order to tempt the Dens Park club into parting with their midfielder early.
An agreement could still be made before the deadline passes on Thursday, but not for that much.
