COMMENTARY

It is fair to say that Joe Worrall has not been flavour of the month at Rangers this season and it appears as though a couple of the Ibrox faithful are still relatively unhappy with his performances despite keeping a clean sheet against Livingston on Sunday. Is he deserving of this blasting? Not really. He might not have stolen the limelight at the Tony Macaroni Arena but he was not as bad as some of these fans suggest. Yes, his passing might have been a bit off radar and he could consider himself a little lucky not to have conceded a penalty in the dying minutes but overall he was solid alongside Nikola Katic. With Conor Goldson out through injury he is by no means a bad option to call upon and the more he plays the more confident he will get. Still, you imagine that when the former Brighton man is fit again it will be the Nottingham Forest loanee who finds himself dropped – at least this section of Rangers fans should be left happy with that.
