COMMENTARY
Sky Sports reported previously that West Ham were set to pursue Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson if Marko Arnautovic left and this was clearly on some Hammers’ fans minds on Saturday. With there being reported speculation that Manuel Pellegrini’s side would potentially attempt to sign the Cherries forward if Arnautovic’s exit did occur, Hammers fans weighed in on whether it was a good move after watching him first hand. Wilson featured for Bournemouth, and scored, in the 2-0 victory over Hammers on Saturday and a few fans claimed the club should go all out for the 26-year-old. One even boldly claimed due to the fact Wilson didn’t look like he moaned as much as Arnautovic, the club should lodged a bid. However one Hammers fan feared that with Wilson departing the pitch early in Saturday’s game the club would sign only for him to be injured, while others worried his price tag has just rocketed after scoring. Wilson has scored 11 goals this season and you feel he will cost a pretty penny if the Hammers do want him.
