Manchester United look set to lose young attacker Josh Bohui after he rejected a new contract at Old Trafford, according to the Mirror

The newspaper report that the 19-year-old, who is regarded as one of the club’s best academy prospects, turned down two offers from the club over the summer.

The Mirror claim that Monaco and Barcelona are both circling for Bohui with his current deal set to expire in the summer following his decision to turn down a new one.

It is said that United would be in line to receive a compensation fee after their offers of a new contract.

Good move for United?

Absolutely not.

Bohui has been one of the most impressive performers for the club’s academy over the past couple of seasons, with the England youth international looking set for a big future in the game.

The 19-year-old has been dubbed the ‘new Andy Cole’ for his ability to score goals in a prolific manner while being able to play wide in attack.

To lose him at this stage in his development, with first-team football just over the horizon, would be a big blow.

Likely to happen?

It looks like Bohui is intent on leaving the club after his rejection of two contract offers, and there is not much United can do about it.

With big clubs like Monaco and Barcelona lurking, an exit in the summer for a small compensation fee looks to be extremely likely.
