Manuel Pellegrini no doubt has a headache over the fact that reportedly both Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic are keen to exit but there is a cure in sight.

According to Sky Sports Hernandez is keen on a move to Valencia despite the Hammers wanting to keep him and Arnautovic’s agent previously shared his client wanted to move to a Chinese club.

“He wants to go to a new market and challenge for titles. This is what he wants,” Danijel Arnautovic told talkSPORT.

“It is his great desire that West Ham accept the offer from China.”

While Pellegrini will no doubt be able to perhaps hold on to one of the wantaway duo, likely Hernandez, it doesn’t mean the Mexican attacker will be truly focused in the second half of the season.

However the Hammers boss shouldn’t fret if a new forward doesn’t arrive to aid him as Silva has shown all the signs that he is capable of being a threat for the club if given a chance.

Silva has rarely been seen in the first-team this season after arriving in the summer, as he has appeared only twice, but you feel the pacey forward could make Pellegrini deal with the potential loss of Arnautovic, Hernandez or both.

The 21-year-old, who can play as a centre-forward or as a winger on either flank, has scored an impressive seven goals in six outings for the youth team in the Premier League 2 this season.

Silva looks a powerful youngster with pace to burn and doesn’t seem to be afraid to try his luck in front of goal.

In the recent 2-0 win over Birmingham City, the attacker didn’t look out of place featuring for the first-team and seemed to have that raw pace and fresh ideas that defences struggle to handle.

While the 21-year-old is yet to grab his first senior goal for West Ham, if given minutes it wouldn’t take him long.

Therefore based on his form in the youth team, his display against Birmingham City, Silva could be the cure for Pellegrini’s headache if the worst case emerges with both Hernandez and Arnautovic.
