Newcastle United must benefit from Aboubakar Kamara’s unsavoury exile from Fulham by offering the striker a shock escape route from Craven Cottage.

The French forward has been banned from all club activities by the Cottagers after being arrested over training ground fight with a member for staff earlier this week, as reported by the Guardian.

The incident follows recent clashes with fellow forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, including one reported dispute during a team yoga session.

It is highly likely that Fulham will move the 23-year-old on this month as a result, and Newcastle must step up to bring him to Tyneside in what would be a huge roll of the dice.

According to the Daily Mail, West Brom are keen on giving Kamara a chance at the Hawthorns, but the forward has proven that he is good enough to cut in the top tier, and could be exactly the kind of ruthless nuisance that the Magpies are lacking.

The former Monaco youth player has scored five goals in all competitions so far this season, but his appeal goes far beyond his ability in front of goal.

The Frenchman is force of nature – a bustling, physical handful who can cause problems for any defence just by putting himself about a bit.

Newcastle have lacked anybody with any kind of real bite this season, especially up front.

Salomon Rondon has done very well since going from West Brom, but he is far more technical than your average ‘big man’ and doesn’t always relish a gritty battle in the same way that Kamara does.

He would be a serious gamble, but the Fulham man could be the ideal foil for the Venezuelan when the going gets tough.
