COMMENTARY
Many West Ham fans were understandably fuming as their side crashed out of the FA Cup due to losing 4-2 to AFC Wimbledon, and goalkeeper Adrian got lot of the anger directed at him. The goalkeeper who hardly gets a look in due to Lukasz Fabianski being phenomenal between the sticks since arriving from Swansea City. Yet Hammers supporters understood why Adrian didn’t play much these days after watching him ship three goals against Wimbledon, with one recommending that he should never play again. Then again while that was harsh, another fan was perhaps a bit more positive by claiming the club should sell him as that at least implied that someone else would want. Adrian previously was a reliable presence between the sticks for the Hammers and fans should appreciate all he has done for the London club, however after his terrible 2017/18 campaign and his form not looking good in rare outings this season, it’s clear time is nearly up for the veteran at the London Stadium.
