Manchester City stormed to a 7-0 win over Rotherham on Sunday in the FA Cup and several supporters couldn’t help but drool over Ilkay Gundogan’s part in the win. The 28-year-old midfielder racked up four assists in the game and had fans purring over his antics, with one even describing him as world class. Gundogan’s display even had one fan leaping to his defence to point out the only reason the player gets so much hate is because of how good Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho are not because of the player’s lack of talent. It seems a section of Man City fans were quick to pick up on how good Gundogan played on Sunday due to believing that other fans didn’t rate him as highly as they should. However fan opinion shouldn’t really bother the midfielder himself because he should know that if plays well for Man City in the coming weeks, then there will likely not be any supporters not appreciating his ability.
