Chelsea attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi has reiterated his desire to leave for Bayern Munich to club director Marina Granovskaia, according to Sky Germany

The broadcaster report that the 18-year-old is keen on a move to the Bundesliga with the Champions League giants and has no intention of extending his contract at Stamford Bridge, which runs until 2020.

Sky Germany claim that Hudson-Odoi has now reaffirmed his wishes for an exit to Granovskaia, with Chelsea’s efforts to get him to stay set to be in vain.

It is said that Bayern have already tabled a £27million offer for the young forward.

Good move for Chelsea?

No.

Hudson-Odoi is one of the biggest talents to come out of the Chelsea academy in many years, as illustrated by his match-winning display against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup over the weekend.

The 18-year-old is clearly ready for first-team football and yet Maurizio Sarri does not believe that is the case, leading to this unenviable situation of the player now wanting to leave.

In all honesty you cannot blame him for wanting to do so, with the Blues not having the best record with young players, but even letting him go for a fee of £27million will be something they regret in the future.

Likely to happen?

It looks like the 18-year-old has set his sights on a move to Bayern, and that may be the key here.

If Hudson-Odoi no longer wants to be around, and Bayern potentially up their bid to £30million, then this could well go through.

The arrival of Christian Pulisic in the summer will damage his chances of first-team football even more, and with the speedster now refusing to extend his deal, Chelsea may end up having to let him leave.
