It is no secret that Everton are in need of attacking reinforcements, as after all, it is not like Cenk Tosun, Oumar Niasse or Dominic Calvert-Lewin have set the Premier League alight.
Marco Silva has deployed summer signing Richarlison – who is known to be the most effective on the wing – several times this season, most of the time to no avail.
Teams do not fear the Toffees’ attack in the slightest, and this is a big problem that needs to be rectified if they want to push for a top-eight finish in the league this year.
How will they do that? A question that will no doubt be on many supporters’ lips when the prospect of signing a striker is brought up.
Step forward Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Sebastien Haller, a striker who Everton must pounce on this month if they are to heed any sort of success this season.
Having scored 12 goals in 25 games this term, Haller is tall, powerful and has a serious eye for goal.
Considering that the Toffees are rather weak in this department, it is safe to say that Haller ticks all the boxes for the club in their need for a new striker.
The Bundesliga is known for its high-quality players, so the fact that he has managed to net 12 goals already means that he will easily translate that figure in the Premier League.
Most players dream of making the move to the English top-flight, and Silva must ensure that happens by swiftly moving for the attacking ace.
He would walk into the starting XI with no problems at all based on Everton’s lack of a quality talisman, and he would no doubt turn their bad luck around in an instant.
Silva can fix a big problem at Everton by swooping for the dazzler – as he is exactly what they need.
