COMMENTARY
There can be no doubting that Cenk Tosun has come under fire from nearly every corner of the Everton fanbase but the Turkish international seemed to silence his doubters on Tuesday night with his performance against Huddersfield. The Toffees faithful were left raving over his efforts in leading the line, with one insisting that he was head and shoulders above attacking counterpart Dominic Calvert-Lewin, a clear favourite of manager Marco Silva after missing just two Premier League games this season, in terms of his link up play. From his first touch to his passing as well as his work ethic, every aspect of his game was celebrated and there were even calls for yet another start in their next outing. This is a quite remarkable turnaround in just 90 minutes and if this is what Silva can expect from Tosun from now on then maybe he still has a future at Goodison Park.
