Georges-Kevin NKoudou made his first Premier League appearance of the season when he came off the bench to help Tottenham earn a last-gasp win against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

The 23-year-old winger fired a 93rd minute cross into the box, which was bundled into the back of the net by Harry Winks to see Spurs come from behind and win 2-1.

It was NKoudou’s first league appearance for Tottenham since October 2017, and he took to his personal Twitter account straight after the game to see if the club’s supporters have forgotten about him.

“Helloooo. You remember me?” he said.

OPINION

NKoudou’s future at Tottenham may still be under doubt, especially as according to the Daily Mail, the North London club are going to try and offload the ex-Marseille winger. However his impact was invaluable for Spurs as they beat Fulham on Sunday. Without his superb cross into the box, Spurs would be walking away from Craven Cottage with just the one point. Maybe NKoudou was trying to put himself in the shop window. Or maybe he was fighting for his future at Spurs. Either way Mauricio Pochettino will be delighted with his impact, which was crucial considering how poorly Erik Lamela played and that Harry Kane and Heung-min Son are unavailable. Will Pochettino now change his mind about getting rid of NKoudou? Overall, the winger hasn’t done much in his two and a half years at Tottenham. However this one moment could change everything. Maybe he will be remain in the squad after January 31.
