What a day it has been at Elland Road – but Marcelo Bielsa revelations in the shock development over his Championship-wide training ground scouting missions has got many of the Leeds United faithful fearing the worst. His point on Wednesday was that watching on at training is only a very minor part of the work he and his team carry out in analysing his opponents, with hours and hours worth of data just on Derby City alone. He is a methodical individual who leaves nothing down to chance and the sheer amount of work put in to knowing exactly what they can expect on a match day is nothing short of staggering. However it is the watching on of training sessions – which some call spying, some call scouting – which appears to have worried the Leeds fans and irked the opposition supporters, with fears of a points deduction firmly in the minds of those in the stands. It will be fascinating to see what the EFL do with no precedence to call upon. They say the punishment has to fit the crime but what if there is no law to state exactly what the crime might be? This saga is not over, not by a long shot.

No as there is no official rule on it. There is a guideline that clubs signed at the beginning of the season to treat each other with respect but that’s it. If anything will happen Bielsa will get fined (20 point deduction incoming)
