Leeds have been linked with a number of players in the January window, but so far nothing has stuck.

However, there’s one player who’s available and he would be perfect for Marcelo Bilesa – Liverpool’s Ben Woodburn.

Liverpool have reportedly ended his season-long loan with Sheffield United after the £12k-a-week attacker only made seven appearances in the Championship.

The Liverpool Echo claim that Jurgen Klopp is considering a number of offers from Championship clubs – Blackburn Rovers, Brentford and Hull City are named, but others are interested too – and is open to him going out on loan again.

Leeds don’t have much money to play with in January and a loan move would suit them down to the ground.

The 19-year-old, who can play on either wing, or through the middle as an attacking midfielder, hasn’t enjoyed his stay in Sheffield, but we’re sure that Marcelo Bielsa can unlock his talent.

The Wales international is a serious talent with plenty enough to play at the top of the Championship.

He’s made 11 appearances for the Liverpool first-team and is expected to be back in training next week, with Klopp set to make a decision on his future towards the end of January.

And Leeds will know him well, after the-then 17-year-old scored the second goal in the EFL Cup quarter-final in 2016 to help Liverpool beat Leeds 2-0.

Victor Orta should make him priority number one – they want a winger, with Pablo Hernandez turned playmaker, and Woodburn has the talent to fire Leeds to automatic promotion.
