Vincent Janssen could make a long-awaited return from injury when Tottenham’s Under-23s play against Liverpool next week, according to Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas.
The reporter claimed via his personal Twitter account on Wednesday that Janssen, 24, has made a full return from a foot injury that has kept the Dutch forward sidelined all season.
Plenty of extra info in the above about outgoings, particularly Janssen who could make his #Tottenham return for U23s against #Liverpool next week after making full recovery from foot injury. #thfc

Since returning from his loan spell at Fenerbahce last season, Janssen has not kicked a ball for Tottenham and the Daily Mail has reported that he could be moved on in the January transfer window.
OPINION
Janssen looks as though he has recovered from his injury just in time to be offloaded by Tottenham. The 24-year-old has endured a miserable spell in North London since joining the club from AZ Alkmaar in 2016. In his debut season he scored just six goals in 39 appearances across all competitions and the following year he was shipped out on loan to Fenerbahce. Janssen struggled with injuries in Turkey and had little impact when he was on the pitch by scoring just five goals in 18 total outings. Injury has kept him sidelined again this season but even if he was available, it’s unlikely that he would have played with Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Fernando Llorente all more likely to start up front than him. It is good news for him that he could make his injury comeback next week and it’s also good for Tottenham because it could mean that their chances of getting rid of him have increased.
