Lucas Digne put it another superb shift for Everton in their 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Sunday. The Frenchman has proved to be an unbelievable signing by Marco Silva and must be one of the first names on the Portuguese’s team sheet. He was tremendous once again against the Cherries, flying up and down the left hand side of the pitch and looking threatening from an attacking point of view throughout. He made the difference on the hour mark when he showed good determination to keep a corner kick alive and retrieve the ball for the Toffees. He then managed to get a beautiful cross in which Kurt Zouma hammered home with his head. Leighton Baines is a club legend but Everton needed to replace him sooner or later. It very much appears that they have got their man in Digne. The former Barcelona star gave another example of his quality on Sunday and must be considered one of the Premier League’s signings of the season.
