West Bromwich Albion are chasing deals for Fulham duo Stefan Johansen and Aboubakar Kamara, according to Bleacher Report journalist Dean Jones.

Jones reported on his personal Twitter account on Friday that the Baggies are hopeful of securing a deal for Norway international midfielder Johansen.

It is said that the club have also enquired about 23-year-old forward Kamara, who is most definitely on his way out of Craven Cottage after an explosive fall-out which saw him arrested at their training ground.

Good move for West Brom?

For Johansen, yes. For Kamara, no.

Johansen has played just 13 times in all competitions so far this term for the Cottagers, and will likely be looking for more regular minutes.

The 28-year-old has vast experience at the top level, and would be a solid addition to a Baggies midfield which could do with strengthening before the transfer deadline.

Kamara is simply a troublemaker, and while he may be a good footballing option for West Brom, the strain he may put on the dressing room is not worth it amid their bid for promotion.

Likely to happen?

The fact that Jones claims the Baggies are hopeful of a deal for Johansen suggests that one could actually happen.

However, it looks like their interest in Kamara is not as advanced, and that is definitely a good thing.
