OPINION
Leeds United attacker Tyler Roberts certainly played his part in what was an entertaining 2-1 FA Cup third round defeat to Queens Park Rangers on Sunday. He was in and about things from very early on, hitting both posts with a fierce drive after mere seconds. That was a statement of intent from the youngster, and it was clear that the 19-year-old wanted to make an impression at Loftus Road. The Wales international is a tremendously positive player. It doesn’t always work out for him but he is constantly trying to make things happen. He was involved in much of what was positive about Leeds in the game. It was a very open contest and that suited someone like Roberts. He had a few attempts on goal but ultimately was unable to get on the scoresheet. However, his performance will have been enough to give boss Marcelo Bielsa confidence moving forward.
