Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa will be happy to stop after he brings in a goalkeeper and a winger to Elland Road this January, according to YEP journalist Phil Hay.

The ultra-reliable journalist made the claim on his personal Twitter account on Friday afternoon.

It comes after Leeds announced the capture of Real Madrid keeper Kiko Casilla on Thursday.

OPINION

With Casilla on board it looks like Leeds will be making just one more signing before the January window closes. That’s presuming that they can land the right target from Bielsa’a approved shortlist. Top of that list is reported to be Daniel James from Swansea and the latest talk from that is that the clubs are finding it hard to agree on a fee. However, Hay said there there’s a suspicion that Swansea are driving the price too high and that could lead to them looking at other names. Bristol City’s Callum O’Dowda has also been mentioned but he’s definitely secondary to James. With Izzy Brown “fit and ready” according to Bielsa at his press conference yesterday, these two signings should be enough to see Leeds through until the end of the season. As long as they don’t suffer even more key injuries in the second-half of the season. Each game they come through now with 11 unscathed will be a big step closer to the Premier League.
