COMMENTARY
Aston Villa have seriously struggled without Jack Grealish during his injury absence and with no return date scheduled the fans are having to latch onto any good news they get. It is looking good for the Villa Park faithful though, with Grealish posting a picture of him in the gym on his personal Twitter account and it has got a number of the supporters excited about what they will be hoping is an imminent return. The midfielder himself seems pretty positive about his recovery efforts and the picture posted shows no sort of medical assistance, such as a brace or strapping, to suggest that he is further away from a return than the fans would like. Of course, they want him back now, but this little reveal should give them a little more hope he will be back on the pitch training with his teammates and ready for Championship action sooner rather than later. Dean Smith will be hoping that is the case, as his side look to be lacking a certain spark in the midfield maestro’s absence.
