Why would Rangers bid much more than £50,000 for Glen Kamara? The Finland international could struggle to get into Steven Gerrard’s starting line-up right now so it wouldn’t be the end of the world if Dundee rejected that offer plus, no matter what, the midfielder will be heading to Ibrox for free in the summer anyway. Dundee have a tough decision to make on whether or not they take the money and run or get the most out of a player in the second-half of the season and then make no money on him in the summer. According to the Express, that is what Rangers are basically offering and understandably, it has seen some Celtic fans react. On the face of it, it does seem like a derogatory offer but once you think about it, the Dark Blues might have to accept it. It will no doubt lead to some jokes and comments from Glasgow’s east end, but Rangers fans will know that they are getting a good deal no matter what here. It’s a no-lose situation for the Gers.
