Rangers midfielder Lassana Coulibaly wasn’t awful against Hibernian by any accounts as he ran himself ragged trying to help his team but after witnessing their side only manage a 1-1 draw with Hibs, some fans let him know they weren’t keen on him. One supporter described the 22-year-old’s display as absolutely stinking while another claimed that Gers teammate Ross McCrorie was 10x the player he was with several disappointed with his passes. There’s no denying that the midfielder’s final ball could have more accurate on Wednesday but at this point it’s to know why supporters are expecting him to be an amazing passer. Coulibaly’s passing and decision making is clearly the area of his game that he needs to work on but his tackling and work-rate make him a useful player. While the 22-year-old won’t transform into the player some want him to be below, he is likely to keep regularly featuring for Steven Gerrard’s side this season.
