Darren Moore could make just one change to his starting line-up ahead of West Brom’s clash against Aston Villa at The Hawthorns on Friday night.

Hal Robson-Kanu is expected to drop out of the side after suffering a knock in the draw against Brentford on Monday, meaning that Dwight Gayle is likely to return the starting 11.

West Brom’s official website confirms that £30,000-a-week (Spotrac) Robson-Kanu is a doubt for the West Midlands derby this week so there is a good chance that he will be replaced by star man Gayle.

Sam Johnstone is expected to start in goals against his former club with an unchanged back-four ahead of him consisting of Tosin Adarabioyo, Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi and Kieran Gibbs.

James Morrison and Jake Livermore are likely to start in the midfield as well as Matt Phillips, who has been in stunning form for the Baggies in his recent appearances.

West Brom’s front three is expected to be made up of Harvey Barnes, Jay Rodriguez and Gayle.

Moore did not make any substitutes after Gayle replaced Robson-Kanu against Brentford on Monday, so the chances are that the Baggies boss will avoid making that many changes for this week’s crunch clash with the Villains.
